They did a good job on my roof, however they tore a screen in the process. He took it home for repair and said they would bring it back that afternoon. After two emails inquiring about it,i never saw it again. Now I have to have a custom screen made. Go figure!

I contacted Jason via thumbtack to get a roof done in Colchester I had great communication at first then I did some research and found many links to affordable roof restorations, L&m construction, chittenden roofing plus chittenden construction so I kept doing research and found NONE of these companies are registered to Anyone but 2 of them! I called the other 2 and they never heard of Jason or Paul so I contacted Jason again with what the information I found and he instantly got hostile and angry telling me I'm a f&$#@ing Idoit and don't know what I'm talking about! I send the information Via text and never heard the end of it I keep getting prank calls and angry text, I'm kinda confused why they act like this I wanted some work done on my house but received hate mail instead but I'm glad I did my homework or I may have lost more then I have now!! CAREFUL WHO YOU HIRE THESE COMPANIES AREN'T LEGAL!!! Do your homework before you hire these guys!!!!!

You don't get more unreliable than this.
The number listed for L&M is the same as the cell phone number for the person at Chittenden Roofing - another company here on Yelp. They were so shady/unreliable/made it so hard to even get a signed copy of the contract we agreed upon that my insurance company cancelled my policy & wrote me a new one, so that the fact that I am still looking for a roofer wouldn't leave me uninsured.
In short, don't work with them. After 3 days of back & forth texting/calling, I couldn't get a signed contract - even though they knew about the urgency. If that part was so difficult, I hate to think what would have happened if I'd given them 50% upfront (a standard ask in many construction contracts) and/or if they'd started the project.
